Missing my Dad

I was looking for one of my frequent flyer cards and I came across this card.

This was my Dad’s membership. I think he was my biggest influence on travel. I remember sitting in the clipper club at San Francisco airport as a kid. Looking back, it was pretty amazing that that guy would travel alone with 5 kids between 5 and 15. It was awesome. It’s too bad that “lifetime” turned out to the the Pan Am’s and not Dad’s.

I miss him and I miss telling him about my adventures.

I too travel alone with my kids. Its the best time ever. After this last trip, I think they too embraced the cafe society life and find our adventures just as cool. Thanks, Dad!!Love you!
